Estava meio desapontado com a crítica feita ao filme O Fantasma da Ópera, que praticamente decidira não ver a película. Mas depois de conversar com um amigo, mudei de idéia. E foi uma grata surpresa.



Não só pela trilha sonora, belíssima, mas principalmente por relembrar fevereiro de 1998, quando tive a oportunidade de ver a montagem do musical num teatro da Broadway, em Nova Iorque. Evidentemente que são linguagens absurdamente diferentes, mas a emoção se manteve a mesma. A força de ver toda aquela infra-estrutura funcionando de maneira tão eficaz, emocionou meu coração.

De novo, na platéia daquele teatro, lembrei dos amigos queridos. Acho legal poder dividir esses momentos com gente especial. Naquele dia, nos EUA, estava com o Carlos. Hoje estive com a Thais. Abaixo, deixo a letra da música mais bela, na minha opinião. E se puder, arrisque algumas horas no cinema. O filme é bem bonito.
